Tiger Woods is recognized as the greatest golfer of all time. The 2-minute video below shows the result that Tiger the father has had upon Charlie Woods, his son — in the sport of golf. Jesus says in Luke 6:40 that “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”
As disciple makers, I think we should make it our goal to have the same kind of “Jesus-influence-and-mentoring” upon those we are discipling into being Jesus followers and disciple makers themselves in THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE OF LIFE — that Tiger Woods has obviously had upon his own son, Charlie in the infinitely lesser issue of his golf game.
